These Hypnotherapy training schools have standards that are in line with the NZAPH standards required to become a Provisional Member of the NZAPH.

The NZAPH gives automatic acceptance of membership, under an international reciprocal alliance with the Australian Hypnotherapists Association for professional members of the AHA who have relocated to New Zealand. The application process and standards apply also for those professional members of NZAPH who relocate to Australia.

Requirements for Professional Membership
Applicants should provide proof of having done at least 500 hours of study at a reputable clinical hypnotherapy school (course should include 120 hrs practical hands-on classroom experience). The applicant should be prepared to demonstrate to the examination committee knowledge and/or experience on the following subjects:
