NZAPH Group Clinical Supervision Program - a wonderful opportunity to up your game – funded by the NZAPH
(note there are only a few positions still available in the initial supervision group – so contact Kerry Onyewu urgently to register for the group)
The NZAPH are committed to enhancing the effectiveness of hypnotherapy to the population of New Zealand through supporting our members to develop and maintain exemplary standards of practice.
To this end the NZAPH encourages each member to engage in regular formal Supervision of their practice, in addition to professional development and adherence to the code of ethics practice and conduct.
We are excited to announce that the NZAPH Committee have developed and fully financed a program of Group Clinical Supervision and are now in a position to offer this free of charge to registered members of the NZAPH.
We hope that as a professional you are already aligned with the benefits as well as necessity of engaging in regular Supervision but here is an outline to encourage you.
Benefits of Attending Group Supervision Sessions:
Assist participants to maximize professional standards of conduct
Ensure safe efficient and appropriate therapeutic interventions with clients.
Validate and refine present skill/ knowledge base.
Identify areas of potential growth and recommend access to resources.
Increase personal and professional confidence.
Contribute meaningfully to the development of hypnotherapeutic skills and competence among your colleague / members of the NZAPH and as a direct result to the development of hypnotherapy in New Zealand.
Recognize the benefits of a group supervision process in order to support member consideration of developing smaller Peer Supervision groups.
And if you are still not convinced, here is the icing on the cake;
These groups will be held on a Zoom platform, so an Internet connection is all you need to join. No travel, no parking, and minimizing time investment.
And speaking of investment these groups are FREE to you as a valued member of the NZAPH
How to take advantage of this opportunity?
We intend to start the first group on Monday 9th April and numbers will be limited to 10 participants. The group will meet monthly on-line using the zoom platform so you will need to have a pc with internet access.
Please email Keri Onewyu to register for the group
If interest dictates, we will develop more groups to accommodate demand. We hope that this will be recognized as the first of many incentives to come that demonstrates the NZAPH’s firm commitment to you, our members and to the development of outstanding hypnotherapeutic practices to the population of New Zealand.
